Lions Victoria Square Saltaire

Lions Victoria Square Saltaire

In Saltaire village there are 4 lions, each different and they guard Victoria Square, against what I am not quite sure.  One story is that they were made for Trafalgar Sq in London there was some falling out, Sir Titus saw they and brought them to Yorkshire.  Whatever the true story, they have been here a long time and small children can hardly believe their eyes when they first encounter them. This lion is called Vigilance.
