Police Officer Nadiah - Leeds City Centre

Police Officer Nadiah

Now I have been doing this blog for more than 1 month I am becoming more forward at asking people if I can take their photograph.  I saw this police officer on patrol in Leeds city centre and she said yes.  So here we have PC Nadiah.

My uncle was a policeman when I was a boy and in those days the nearest thing they had to personal communication was a whistle and the police box beloved of Dr Who.

  1. The ones around here are camera-shy - broached the subject carefully one day and got the impression they simply didn't know the law on photography in public places, so I haven't bothered - but it is their loss not ours.

  2. Hi Paul, I've just discovered your blog and I like it. It is nice when a DP blog displays people and not only sceneries or building, as people make a city. I did not use to like policemen(-women)when I lived in Italy (and Germany later) but I don't mind the British police. Well done. Ciao. Antonella

  3. Hi new blogger, I'm old enough to recall some famous English TV cops from the north, they were fun shows. Have grown tired of The Bill

  4. She looks friendly enough. As long as you behave well. :-)
