Oakworth Village Morris Men in Haworth, Yorkshire

Oakworth Village Morris men Yorkshire

In the photo above you can see the badge of the Oakworth village Morris Men. The Oakworth village Morris men were founded in 1981 in the village of Oakworth, Yorkshire. They dance the Cotswold Morris from villages in Oxfordshire.

In the above photo you can see the Oakworth Village Morris Men in mid dance in Haworth Village, Yorkshire.

  1. What could be more English than Morris dancers?!

  2. As marley said, very English it is!

  3. It seems perfectly appropriate for Leeds to have Morris dancers (love the backdrop). Seeing them in Christchurch though is just plain scary!

  4. How delightful. But why do they make me think of men in Bavaria?

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow for more of the Keukenhof series!
