Aeroplane Above Leeds City Centre

Aeroplane Airplane plane Leeds City centre

I was in Leeds city centre on the Headrow and the plane in the photo above was circling overhead, doing so for some minutes so I took a few shots with my camera.

There was a lot of blue sky in the frame but the aeroplane is pretty clear in the cropped photo. Interesting registration number and as I now see the rear door is open too!

Not sure what he was doing, but I though it would make a nice post as my first plane photo. I have been out to Leeds/Bradford airport twice in the last few months, first time it was really misty and when I picked my friend up from the return trip it was dark.

  1. Good shot. I always check out the registration when I photograph a plane, and a couple of times the owners have been able to find my photos online. One pilot told me that he often photographs the landscape and as he often flies over my hometown I ordered him to take some photos of my house but no luck so far!

  2. The crop makes it look almost like a toy plane. Gorgeous blue sky but I dread to think why the door was open.
