Usually to get a photograph for the Leeds photo daily I have to walk around Leeds city centre.
Not for this photo though, I was sitting in Massarella's cafe bar in Saltaire
when this young lady came in. A film crew were filming in the back yard of my good friend Ellen's cafe and I suspected from her dress that this young woman was a member of the cast. This proved to be correct, so I said hello and could I take some photographs for this blog.
The lady in question is called Nira and she hails from Sweden, but is now working here in England. Nira was dressed in costume for a drama being filmed for the BBC set in Manchester in the winter of 1918 about the . Nira thought it was funny to be dressed for the period, but having the Coke in her hand. I thought she was a great sport and am pleased that she agreed to be photographed.
