Violinist Playing in Briggate, Leeds City Centre

Miles Violinist Briggate Leeds

I have seen this young man playing his violin on Briggate in the heart of Leeds shopping district twice this last week. He is very good with a nice selection of classic works.

I asked if he would mind if I took his photo for my Leeds in Yorkshire photography, as you can see he was fine with this. He is in his final year studying music at Leeds Uni, and he is called Miles. I see several musicians playing for money(busking) in Leeds city centre but Miles is the first solo violinist I have come across in the course of my street photography. On a nice sunny day I guess it is a great place to practise, if you can play in a busy street you can play anywhere.

Bach, Vivaldi or another composer? I played in orchestra in high school and college. Now I play Swedish folk violin. Nice photo! Encore!

The violence is one of the sweetest instruments, but of course it depends on what's being played.

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Do come back for more of tomorrow and find out where we are going!

What a handsome young man and he looks so serious about his music!

That is a bit different with a violinist out busking.
