This Cock Does Not Crow

This photograph shows the weather vane above the stable block at home farm on the Temple Newsam estate, Leeds.

The stable block is a fine Palladian style building dated from 1742 built in red hand made brick. The weather vane is in the form of a Viscount's coronet surmounted by the Ingram family crest - this being a cock.
