Tempus Fugit Horsforth

Undertakers Clock LeedsPicture of Undertakers Clock at Horsforth, Leeds

I passed through Horsforth this afternoon (a town within the metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds) and as is usual I had my camera with on the lookout for Photos for the Leeds Daily Photo.

I saw the above sign on a wall outside a local firm of undertakers, the clock is nothing special but I loved the ironwork on the bracket holding the clock up. No it was not 8 o'clock, think clock may no longer work or is very wrong.

  1. What an amazing piece of ironwork. I hope that's not a pair of minature dead feet poking out behind the driver!

  2. It'll be right twice a day, though...
My uncle, Frank Burland, ran the Post Office in Station Road in Horsforth for many years.
