Stopped Clock

Walking back along Cemetery Road into Yeadon I passed a pub called the Albert Inn. The one thing I recall about the pub is an old clock high on a wall that was showing the wrong time and looks as though it has not worked in some years.

  1. There's one exactly like this in Weymouth - same design - also stopped - but it says 'Yates' something not 'Albert'.

    It is this clock - the one in Weymouth - that made me think that, if ever I were to be a billionaire and become a public benefactor, I'd pay for public clocks to be re-started and for new ones to be put in/up.

  2. Hopefully you don't have to be a billionaire to fix this. Is the pub still open for business? If so just tell them to stop with the beer pouring for a while and fix this.
