The Original Factory Shop is a common fixture in smaller towns in the UK, where other high street names may not maintain a presence. This is a photo of the Ripon branch.
Each branch of the Original Factory Shop choose a ‘charity of the year’ to fundraise for. Some of the charities Yorkshire branches of the Original Factory Shop fundraise for are Whitehall Dog Rescue, West Yorkshire Animals in Need, and the Wakefield Hospice.
Next time you pass a store, why not go in, pick up a bargain, and make a small donation to the store’s chosen charity?

Now that you said it, I'm realizing I've never seen this shop in London, just in Warwickshire. Funny how one doesn't notice these everyday things until it's pointed out, sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWhen I last was in Ripon for a week in May, I went into this shop as well but can't remember buying anything. More likely it was to get out of the cold for a while...
ReplyDeleteSimultaneously cheerful and bleak.
ReplyDeleteLondonLulu - their are fewer branches in London than elsewhere! FYI there's one in West Wickham, and one in Welling (technically in Kent (post code) but it has London buses and trains still) :)
