Here we are yesterday morning around 24 hours after my previous posted photo of the journey into Leeds city centre.
Yes I am on the top deck of a bus on the same route but this picture is from a little further out of the city. As the song says Just 24 Little Hours and what a difference a day makes. If anything I think the weather was worse, yesterday it rained all day and was still raining when arrived home.
For those who might be interested the building on the left of the picture on Kirkstall Road is the sad remains of the Rising Sun pub and the tall railway viaduct before you get to the bottom of Cardigan Road.
Its not actually raining right now but its very damp and gloomy.. Update 22 mins later, its chucking it down.

I am quite sure I've been past the "Rising Sun" on the train, as I usually change in Leeds from the Transpennine Express on a local train to Harrogate.

ReplyDeleteOur heavens were pouring earlier in the week too, though briefly. (The storms in recent days have been very brief but intense) - I can't recall such a rainy year!
