Picture of a cat in Yorkshire I was out exploring churches and the beauty of their stained glass windows when I saw this cat outside a nearby cottage.
The day was not nice at all with some rain and it was also a dull day but a nice cake in a small cafe and meeting this fine looking cat made up for the weather. I watched the cat for a while then he sat just as he is in the above picture.
If I could have a feature in my pictures I would love to be able to get a cat in them. The simplest way would be to get a stuffed one but it really would be the same at all.

Such a well composed photo, Paul. Perhaps it's because the cat is well composed, too. I'm glad you got a live one, the stuffed ones don't have quite the personality one hopes for.
ReplyDeleteOh, wonderful idea. A series of photos, each one with a stuffed cat in it. A touch of slightly-off humour and the surreal.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful picture and I can very well imagine it as a postcard.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Paul, handsome cat in a traditional cottage garden.
ReplyDeleteThis beauty and a bit of nice cake are the perfect antidote to bad weather. A cat feature or series would be terrific, one could feature the real deal, one the stuffed version.:)
ReplyDeleteHandsome cat! Looks like he is used to posing for photographs too, great shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of the silver tabby, great composition! I really enjoy your photographs of random discoveries of cats within and outside the city of Leeds.
ReplyDeleteKeep sharing!
