Rainbow

Today here in Leeds it has been sunshine and showers.  I was down by the river Aire at the end of the afternoon near the Armouries museum.  Walking back to the city centre I thought I might just beat the rain and I crossed the pedestrian Centenary bridge there was a rainbow.

The river Aire was I think about 18 inches lower this afternoon than it was last week.

The showers turned to rain later in the evening and I got pretty wet whilst helping a friend with a photography project outside in a downpour.  How we suffer for our art or rather his art, though to be fair I did get dinner.

  1. Oh my goodness, that is stunning! I love rainbows. Thanks for sharing this, despite having to suffer for your (friend's) art the results were magical! (I'm also amazed at the difference in water level.)

  5. The stories behind photographs are so interesting. You didn't plan this shot, it just happened and you got it!
